India register their fifth consecutive win of the tournament as they beat Pakistan by 2-1. As a result, their unbeaten campaign continues in the Asian Champions Trophy. After taking an early lead in the first quarter, Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh brought his team back in the game as he converted a penalty corner. He further helped his team take a 2-1 lead in the second quarter. Pakistan tried to attack in the third one but failed to hold on to any of their chances. In the end, India emerged victorious by 2-1.
India vs Pakistan Hockey Highlights: Captain Harmanpreet Singh led from the front as the Indian men’s hockey team beat Pakistan 2-1 in their final group game of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 in Moqi, China. However, India had to come from a goal down to beat Pakistan remain unbeaten, heading into the semi-finals. Ahmad Nadeem had put Pakistan into the lead in the eighth minute, before Harmanpreet turn the game on its head with two penalty corner goals in the first-half. So far, India, Pakistan and Korea have qualified for the semi-finals, with Malaysia and China in contention to grab the final spot.
